Renegade NPC’s @flufflord and @Pirate_sheep embarked upon an improvised alternate reality role-play. Storyline is based on the early childhood quote by @flufflord :

As I said to my grandmother while walking into the night: “I’m not afraid of The Dark. I am just like Batman."

Performance starts 20 years later. Sisters have been considered “missing” as they never came back home from The Dark. They are using Instagram to get back in touch with their grandmother and found peace in becoming black metal artists that live in a cave.

All the documentation was taken during August and September Black Metal residency.

Bio

Tea Strazicic is an animation director at Adriatic Animation studio and an artist at SwS collective. Under the alias @flufflord she posts a variety of strange hybrid content between fashion and fantasy RPG while her illustration blog @beefycakegastronaut is more focused on graphic storytelling. After finishing her MA in animation and new media and an ASF course in anim. production, she attended a residency at OW in Denmark. Beginning in 2017, she partnered with Nick Zhu as an AV duo for six months in Los Angeles and focused mainly on working with international electronic music artists and festivals. She currently develops VR projects for HTC Vive and UE4. Her work was published by Heavy Metal (US), TEDed, FeltZine, VICE, ArtSlant, FuckingYoung, Adult Swim, Tzvetnik.

SwS or Schwestern Sisters is a digital media art collective and a family business focused on creating visual content for electronic musicians, collaborative online projects and independent media works. SwS was founded in 2012 by Tea (1990) and Marta Strazicic (1995) while they studied animation at Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. SwS workflow includes between five to ten different software and game engine edits to create a final product. Their visual approach combines comedy, fandom and horror.
